Uplands is a 320-acre, multi-phase residential community located in unincorporated Pierce County abutting the southwest edge of Puyallup, WA. The property is characterized by spectacular views of Mount Rainier and is punctuated with preserved, forested critical areas. Tarragon is developing a community-based land plan unique to the Puyallup market. Organized around a major central, walkable park, the community will feature an array of single-family detached home lots, including alley-load and traditional lot typologies, a boutique age-targeted neighborhood, and two sites of for-rent townhomes.

Uplands was acquired over a decade ago and now site work has commenced, preparing the first phase of the community for residential construction.  Phase 1 of the project consists of townhomes and single-family homes along with the central amenity space – the Wedge Park – containing a community center and primary recreation facilities. Connecting the community together are pathways and trails leading to the central Wedge Park with smaller “found places” for gathering along the way. Uplands will be a place that feels distinctly of home.
