The Tarragon Team had a wild time at NAIOP’s Summer Social! With this year’s Zoo theme, we donned our safari hats, brought in a petting zoo (including a wallaby!), and enjoyed chatting with everyone who stopped by.

The Tarragon Kickball team returned this summer, enjoying time with co-workers and engaging in some friendly competition. We’re proud to have made it to the championship game, finishing as runners-up. We’ll be back with a vengeance next year!

This week, the Tarragon team came together for our annual Habitat for Humanity Build Day in Pierce County. We focused on framing homes for future families, a cause close to our hearts. This event is one of our favorites of the year, as it allows us to contribute meaningfully to families’ journeys toward homeownership.

The Tilden team had an amazing day volunteering at the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge in Lacey, WA! We rolled up our sleeves and tackled the invasive blackberry plants, creating space for native flora to flourish. This volunteer effort, which is part of our Community Engagement Initiative, allowed us to give back to nature and helped strengthen our sense of community and commitment right where the Tilden project resides.

With mixed emotions, Tarragon announces the well-deserved retirement of our Senior Site Operations Manager, Mitch Haugen. Our relationship with Mitch spans more than three decades, and his exemplary field leadership and in-depth product knowledge have consistently produced well-executed projects, including Glacier Run Apartments, Sawyer Trail Apartments, and Tilden Apartments, to name a few.

Congratulations, Mitch, on a career well done. We wish you great happiness in your retirement adventures!

Members of the Tarragon team recently served a post-match meal for the Rainier Highlands Youth Rugby Club, a cherished rugby tradition. Based in Bonney Lake, this club is one of the largest in the state, fielding competitive teams from U10 through high school for both boys and girls.

We had a great time last week at our panel event with the UW Real Estate Club, engaging with the next generation of real estate professionals. Thank you for your insightful questions, and we hope the evening contributed to your career journeys in the real estate industry!
